The R40-S features a step-through design with a one-of-a-kind pivoting computer console that allows unobstructed forward view as well as easy entrance and exit. The console provides has an easy-to-read LCD screen, and it tracks time, distance, speed, calories, and your pulse rate (which is read through contact heart rate sensors built into the handlebars along the side of the seat). This stationary recumbent bike features 15 levels of friction-free magnetic resistance for a smooth, quiet workout. It has an adjustable tension knob to control resistance. It has an oversized plush seat with a comfortable back and adjustable rubber pedal straps for secure, comfortable fit. Assembly is required, and a printed instruction manual is included.
